Nicole Miller Planner Collection
Disclosure: Blue Sky Planners sent me a sample of their Nicole Miller Planner collection in exchange for writing a review & giveaway on my blog. Opinions expressed here are my own.
I’ve been a Nicole Miller fan since my aunt introduced me to her line when I first started high school, so when I was contacted to review her new planner line collaboration with Blue Sky, I was immediately interested. Nicole Miller’s style of black and bold colors is apparent in her planner line. This collaboration with Blue Sky Planners is available online or in Office Depot in stores or online.
I love monthly calendars; I always have one on my desk at all times because they are such an easy way to reference dates. Honestly, I rarely write anything down on them and prefer to cross out days instead. Monthly view planners are great to hang in a busy part of the house, say on the fridge or near a phone, to reference quickly.
I am not the type of person that can solely use a monthly planner, but I find these extremely helpful around the house or office. I use them as a reference mainly, and will occasionally write down events, birthdays, or other relevant information so at-a-glance I know what is happening that month. If I need more information or need to add something, then I will go to my main planner.
The Isosceles design is my favorite of the Nicole Miller Planner collection; the colors are softer than the others in this collection, and the design is attractive. I love that they matched the font with Nicole Miller’s logo.
This monthly calendar goes from July 2016 to June 2017 and measures 11 inches by 8.75 inches.
Blue Sky Planners are what I used mainly through college, and I wish they had these awesome collaborations back then! Personally, I can’t use a planner this small, but I know many people that LOVE this size.
The Rio planner features a yearly overview for both 2016 & 2017 which are so helpful for quick reference. There is also a section to put some personal information, emergency contacts, and family contacts. I usually only put first names, phone numbers, and emails so as not to give out information in case my planner is lost or stolen.
I LOVE when monthly overview pages have lines on the days. It helps keep my writing neat and my events organized. I love that they have added a Notes section on the side of the month. I like to use this for bills due I have during the month.
While I am currently very much an A5 binder girl right now, weekly horizontal view with lines (so crucial, I love lines) is my close 2nd. When I don’t have a very busy week, I will switch to a weekly planner and use a notepad if I happen to need more room for notes.
Notes pages are essential to any planner that I use. I use them for to-do lists, random notes, and bills. This planner also features a list of holidays until 2019.
Notebooks are my kryptonite. I love notebooks. I buy them all the time.
While these notebooks aren’t my taste design wise, the insides are what I look for in a notebook. These notebooks are lined and feature 120 pages.
They are flexible and great to stash in your purse to write notes on the go! I use notebooks for grocery lists, random thoughts, and to do lists for on the go.
